UPDATE - CAPREON WEBSITE NOW LIVE... ...but very hard to navigate and the maps are impossible to read!! I have already emailed them to ask for high resolution detail so that residents can provide a considered response. There is no alternative consultation link on the website as suggested (only an email link) and affordable homes seems to have become much less prominent in their pitch... Capreon - Jackson's Field Public Consultation - April 16th -May 6th Local residents have just received a leaflet for a public consultation on Jackson's Field on behalf of the promoters, Capreon. This is the most northerly part of the site adjoining Princes Road, Bridgestone Drive and the lower part of Hawks Hill. The consultation is due to run from Friday April 16th to Thursday, May 6th. The closing date is a rather "unfortunate" choice as it coincides with the Local Election date. It describes up to 75 new houses and flats. This is in addition to the 400 promoted by Catesby Estates on the other fields. The KBEG team will review the Capreon proposals once the consultation site goes live www.jacksonsfield.co.uk and will develop and share a detailed response with supporters as we did for Catesby Estates (and Buckinghamshire Council prior to that).

Dear KBEG Supporters, The KBEG team have prepared a 15 minutes survey (see attached link) for you to complete by March 8th. Please also share it with your family, your neighbours and friends right across our local area and encourage them to complete it as well. In addition, we are asking everyone who lives locally to reaffirm your mandate to KBEG to speak on your behalf. We will use your responses to add to our final KBEG Response to the Catesby Estates plc Pre-planning Consultation which closes on March 11th. You are obviously free to respond to Catesby Estates yourself. With your mandate, KBEG will reply via email at info@catesbyestates.co.uk on your behalf if you wish. We will circulate the preliminary KBEG Response in the next day or so. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/KBEGMAR8th Thankyou.

A huge KBEG thank you to everyone who took the time to respond to the Buckinghamshire Council public consultation on the draft Hollands Farm Development Brief. Here is the KBEG response submitted earlier for your information. If anyone would like to see the Appendices, please let me know. A particular mention in despatches to our KBEG colleague, Simon Carter, for pulling all of this together and notable mentions to the rest of the team (Penny, Paul, Adrian, Richard, Rob) as well as all those who helped spread the word. We will see if Catesby Estates proceed with their pre-application public consultation tomorrow (Thursday), even though the public consultation on the draft Development Brief only closed today! Onwards and upwards! Stuart.

A belated Happy New Year to all our supporters! Buckinghamshire Council has given approval to a public consultation on the Draft Hollands Farm Development Brief. The public consultation is due to commence on January 6th 2021 and will be run for 6 weeks until February 17th 2021. Specific details on how to respond online on the Your Voice Bucks website or on paper will be provided by Buckinghamshire Council when the consultation commences. The Council’s decision and the Draft Development Brief documents can be found here The KBEG team are reviewing the Draft Development Brief and will host a Community Zoom meeting on Monday, January 25th 2021 at 7.30pm. This will provide information on how to respond and major/minor points of interest for your response. Please make a note in your new 2021 diaries on the date and details, although we will send out reminders. To join on Zoom: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87098807386... Meeting ID: 870 9880 7386 Passcode: 920433 To join on your phone: +442039017895,,87098807386#,,,,*920433# It is critical that the community takes this opportunity to voice its concerns once again. We need to ensure that the Development Brief acknowledges and responds to all local concerns regarding the impact the site will have for all Bourne End, Wooburn and Hedsor residents, not only those in the immediate vicinity, but also all those in the surrounding areas utilising the same strained infrastructure. Buckinghamshire Council is only proposing to drop leaflets to those residents living immediately around the proposed site. Clearly, the ramifications of 467 houses at Hollands Farm, plus 150 at Slate Meadow and all the other in-fills and conversions, will impact everyone in this area. Please share these details with all your neighbours and check that they are responding before the deadline.

Please see the attached letter from Wooburn & Bourne End Parish Council containing comments and concerns regarding the Hollands Farm Development Brief and their request for all residents to get involved in the Public Consultation when it commenced (tbd in January). KBEG welcomes this positive step by our Parish Council to update everyone on their hard work behind the scenes and their concerns and call to action. Please share to local social media groups and your personal networks.

Last week, KBEG let you, the community, know that we were concerned that a public consultation on the Hollands Farm Development Brief was not certain. We asked you to contact the relevant Buckinghamshire Councillors and Planning Officer to clarify the matter. KBEG is grateful that many of you did exactly that and this seemed to get the message across. As a result, the Council have confirmed that "there is absolutely no intention not to conduct a consultation on the development brief. The current plan is that consultation will commence in January”. Many of you received responses from the various Councillors and Officers which alleged that the KBEG request was ill-informed and scare mongering. We firmly stand by our decision to raise and clarify this matter based on the Cabinet Forward Plan which stated this was a decision to consult to be taken by the Cabinet Member for Planning & Enforcement in December ( see attached link ) and correspondence from the Council that clearly stated this was a decision whether to consult that would be taken by the Cabinet Member for Planning & Enforcement in December. We felt that needed to be aired in public before it was too late. We hope you agree with our decision to bring this to your attention. As a final note, it is great to be able to welcome Buckinghamshire Council as a new supporter and follower of our Facebook group, which gives us more confidence that they will be able to now continually hear the views and feelings of the residents and those who know and appreciate the Hollands Farm site and the surrounding areas. Let’s see what comes forward in the Development Brief and look forward to working with the community on our response to the public consultation in January. In the meantime, we thank you as always for your unrelenting support and wish you a safe and Happy Christmas. Your KBEG team.
